Ormi A. Kohn age 94 of Wolcottville, IN died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Wolcottville, IN. She was born March 22, 1914 in Auburn, IN to Morris and Clara (Wells) Elsner and they preceded her in death. She married Orlo H. Kohn on January 7, 1950 and he died March 4, 1974. She was a member of the Conservation Club at Pretty Lake. She worked in accounts receivable at Montgomery Ward for 12 years, retiring in 1982. She is survived by 2 daughters - Sue and Don Jennings of Garrett, IN and Clara and David Ton of Bremen, IN. 2 sisters - Wilma Chisholm of Garrett, IN and Betty Riskas of Phoenix, AZ. 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Morris "Bud" Elsner and sisters, Thelma Lawhead and Naoma Hulett. Services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Thomas Funeral Home in Garrett, IN with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery in Garrett, IN with Rev. David Mix officiating. Memorials are to the St. Martin's Soup Kitchen in Garrett, IN.
