Oscar "Lee" Johnson, age 88 died on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Provena Sacred Heart Home in Avilla, IN. He was born on June 6, 1919 in Garrett, IN to Joseph and Marjorie (Richey) Johnson. He married Leah M. Smith on December 18, 1938 and she died on May 16, 1999. He then married Wilma Grothus on February 14, 2000 and she died on August 3, 2003. He worked at Allied Mills for 22 years before retiring in 1982. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
