Patricia Ann (Carpenter) Nickolson, 73 of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne. Pat was born February 2, 1938 in Silver Lake, IN to the late Homer and Versa (Dingman) Carpenter. She was a homemaker. Pat is survived by her children; Priscilla (Dennis) Jennings of Danville, KY, Pamela (Ben) Bennett, Paula Thomas, Penny Woebbeking, William Nickolson III and Paul Nickolson all of Fort Wayne; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Priscilla Foreman and brother, Roger (Shirley) Carpenter both of Fort Wayne and a brother, Scott (Charlane) Dingman of Xenia, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Nickolson Jr; son, Robert Nickolson and daughter, Patti Shadle. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56 Garrett, with calling from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
