Patrick Frank Salerno age 68 of Coldwater, MI and formerly of Angola and Garrett, IN died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center – Ft. Wayne, IN. Pat was born March 17, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Frank Salerno Jr. and Antoinette (Falcone) Salerno. Pat was a Vietnam Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart.P

Pat was a member of the Garrett American Legion, Garrett VFW, and Auburn Moose.

Pat is survived by his god daughter: Andrea (Darrin) Perkowski, Garrett, IN; brother: Michael J. Salerno, Lake Zurich, IL; aunt: Ann Marie (William) Kohnke; cousins: Debbie Holland, Cindy Judd, Bill Kohnke, Anita Kniery, Jim Falcone, Joseph Falcone, Marylyn Jensbey, Angie Facone, Julia Falcone, Andrea Schenkel, Kirk Salerno, nieces and nephews: Taylor Nodine, Kristine Nodine, Kylie Perkowski, Trey Perkowski, Neal Parker Jr., Caroline Parker, Jeremy Lung and Maeann Parker.

Patrick was preceded in death by his daughter: Michelle Salerno Rudd; and parents: Frank and Antoinette Salerno; aunt and uncle: Jessie and Al Conforti; cousin: Fred Salerno

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN with Mike Nichols of Elevate City Church officiating.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 prior to the services.

Military honors by the United States Army and the Garrett American Legion and VFW will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN Memorials to Wounded Warrior Project.
