Paul B. Muzzillo age 70 of Garrett, IN died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his home. Paul was born February 15, 1948 in Garrett, IN to Martin M. and Lois (Thomas) Muzzillo. Paul was the former owner of Martin's Tavern – Garrett, IN, retiring in 2010. He was a Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Paul was a member of the Garrett VFW and formerly the Garrett American Legion, Eagles and Elks

Paul is survived by his son: Martin J. (Christy McBride) Muzzillo, Garrett, IN; daughter: Mitzi Y. (Richard) Hilkey, Ashley, IN; mother : Lois Mende, Angola, IN; grandchildren: Phoenix Muzzillo, Washington State; Haley Lung, Garrett, IN; Cassidy Lung, Garrett, IN; Maximus Shumway, Ashley, IN; Fawn Hilkey, Ashely, IN; great grandchildren: Kindrex, Beckett and Addison Dennison, Garrett, IN.

Paul was preceded in death by his father: Martin M. Muzzillo, Step-mother: Frances Jeanette Muzzillo; step-father: Rudy Mende; step- brother: Todd Mende

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN.

A Memorial Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN with Fr. Jim Shafer officiating.

Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN

Military Graveside honors will be performed by the United States Navy and the Garrett American Legion and VFW.
