Obituary
Peggy J. Schurr, 82 of Auburn, died on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. She was born July 18, 1930 in Fort Wayne to the late Kenneth "Joe" and Mildred M. (Surfus) Hefty. She married Daniel E. Schurr Jr. on January 24, 1948 and he died December 13, 2000. Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca (Jerry) Cauffman of Kingsland, TX, Nancy (Roger) Schmidt of Greensboro, NC and Linda (Mark) Carunchia of Garrett; four grandchildren, Daniel and Douglas Schmidt of North Carolina and Katie and Travis Carunchia of Indiana A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett. Memorials are to DeKalb County Horsemen's Association
