Phillip is survived by his wife: Misty Roush, Garrett, IN and 3 sons: Dayton Wertman, Springfield, OH; Andrew Wertman, Garrett, IN and Charlie Wertman, Garrett, IN. Phillips is survived by his mother: Pamela Tackett, Garrett, IN; sister: Tammy (Benjamin) Morris, Auburn, IN; brother: Hank Wertman, Indianapolis, IN and 3 nephews: Schiler Wertman, Garrett, IN; Devin Morris and Benjamin Morris Jr., both of Auburn, IN. Visitation will be held from Noon - 2 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN with services to be held at 2p.m. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett, IN Memorials are to Pamela Tackett to assist with expenses.
