Phyllis J “P. J.” Miller age 90 of Columbia City, IN passed from this life on Monday, September 7, 2026 at Miller’s Merry Manor – Garrett, IN with her loving family by her side. She was born July 11, 1936 in Churubusco, IN to Henry E. and Beulah R. (Walters) Barbour and they preceded her in death. P.J. was a homemaker.

P.J. is survived by her daughters: Sally Hamilton, Ft. Wayne, IN; Suzanne Miller, Churubusco, IN; son: Timothy (Nancy) Miller, Ft. Wayne, IN; grandchildren: John (Jessica) Hamilton Jr., Ft. Wayne, IN; Jennifer (Greg) Jenks, Anderson, IN; Janelle Poper, Ft. Wayne, IN; Anthony Fye, Seymour, IN; Edward Fye, Columbus, IN.

P.J. was preceded in death by her son: Thomas Hamilton; parents: Henry E. and Beulah R. Barbour.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN with Rev. David Mix officiating.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 10 – 11 a.m.
