He married Kathleen T. Dunne on March 22, 1980 in Auburn; IN. Richard worked as a machinist at Tokheim - Ft. Wayne, IN for 28 years and Busche - Albion, IN for 3 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church - Garrett, IN Richard is survived by his wife: Kathleen Hyde, Garrett, IN; his father: Louis F. Hyde, Kendallville, IN; 2 daughters: Sarah (Ryan Wiedenhoeft) Hyde, Fort Wayne, IN; Katie Hyde, Fort Wayne, IN; and a son: Jake Hyde, Pendleton, IN. 1 grandchild also survives. Richard is also survived by 2 sisters: Margaret R. Hyde, Ft. Wayne, IN; Patricia (Jim) Duguid, Huntington, IN and a brother: Joseph (Lori) Hyde, Corunna, IN. He was preceded in death by his mother: Helen A. Hyde and a sister: Judy Kovara. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Garrett, IN. - with Fr. Andrew Nazareth officiating.
