Richard E. Muzzillo of Hudson, Indiana March 22, 1947 - September 11, 2015 Richard E. Muzzillo age 68 of Lake Arrowhead, Hudson, IN died Friday, September 11, 2015 at Lutheran Life Village – Kendallville, IN. Richard was born March 22, 1947 in Kendallville, IN to Edward P. and Frances Lucille (Hart) Muzzillo. He married Carol L. Lung on April 1, 1967 in Garrett, IN and she survives. Richard worked as a jeweler and worked in assembly at Dana – Auburn, IN. Richard was a veteran of the Air National Guard. Richard was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN; the Garrett American Legion Post #178 and a former member of the Garrett Fire Department. Richard is survived by his wife: Carol L. Muzzillo, Lake Arrowhead, Hudson, IN; a son: Jeffrey (Nina) Muzzillo, Lake Arrowhead, Hudson, IN; a brother: Michael J. (Jenelle) Muzzillo, Sandwich, IL; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents: Edward P. and Frances Lucille Muzzillo and a son: Michael E. Muzzillo A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett,IN with Chaplain Tom Novy officiating. A gathering of friends and family will begin 2 hours prior to the services. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN with military honors by the Garrett American Legion and VFW.
