Richard A. Nodine age 79 of Garrett, IN passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born October 12, 1945 in Garrett, IN to Lafayette W. and Mildred L. (Streb) Nodine. He married Vickie L. Sutton on May 24, 1975 in Ari, IN and she survives in Garrett. Richard was a supervisor at Griffith Rubber for over 30 years, retiring in 2006.

Richard was a member of the Garrett Eagles and the DeKalb County Horseman's Association.

Richard is survived by his wife: Vickie L. Nodine, Garrett, IN sons: Shane (Shahlese) Nodine, Garrett, IN; Matthew "wade" Nodine, Garrett, IN; daughters: Rhonda (Mike) Snavley, South Whitley, IN; Tina (James) Custer, Garrett, IN.; grandchildren: Hunter Nodine, Jaxson Nodine, Tori Nodine, Tiffany Nodine, Kelsie Short, Taylor Macy, Andrea Trout, Dru Nodine, and Cameron Pickett; Several great grandchildren; sisters: Sandra Richmond, Garrett, IN and Janet Bowers, Garret, IN

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Eugene, Robert and Kenneth Nodine; sisters: Barbara Isham, Kathleen Kurtz, Carolyn Zeider, and Linda Nodine.

There will be no services held at this time.
