Rita Ann Mansfield, age 87, of Garrett passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett. She was born December 13, 1926 in Garrett to the late Joseph and Leona (Blaskie) Kobiela. She married Charles R. Mansfield on November 22, 1947 in Garrett and he survives in Garrett. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garrett.

She is also survived by her son, Steve and Brenda Mansfield of Garrett; daughter, Kathy and Kim Shumway of Garrett; daughter Rosie Mansfield of Bristol, TN; sisters, Rosemary and Ted Duemig of Avilla, Dorothy Bonor of Charleston W.V.; brother, Bill and Sandy Kobiela of Auburn; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garrett with Fr. Andrew Nazareth officiating. Memorials are to St. Joseph Catholic School.
