Robert “Bob” Wayne Kahlke age 69 of Garrett, IN passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 in Garrett. Bob was born June 7, 1956 in Garrett, IN to Herman and Wilma (Robke) Kahlke and they preceded him in death. Bob married Julie A. McClelland on May 11, 1985 in Garrett, IN.

Bob worked for T & T Plumbing and Heating – LaOtto, IN for 42 years, retiring in March 2026.

Bob is survived by his wife: Julie A. Kahlke, Garrett, IN; 2 daughters: Sabra (Melvin) Terry, Columbia City, IN; Carla (Tony) Choi, New Haven, IN; son: Karl (Juliann Warakai) Kahlke, Garrett, IN; 2 sisters: Betty J. (Ron) Groh, Garrett, IN; Linda (Abe) Osbun, Dunn, NC; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 10a.m. – 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN with services to be held at 12 p.m.

Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Greenlawn Cemetery – Ft. Wayne, IN
