Robert A. Culler age 65 of Garrett, IN died at 11:31 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. He was born June 3, 1945 in Garrett, IN to Wayne D. and Hilma I. (Bleeks) Culler and they preceded him in death. He worked in time study at Dana Corp. - Fort Wayne, IN for 40 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Garrett United Methodist Church, Garrett Masonic Lodge and was a former Garrett City Councilman. Robert is survived by his daughter: Carrie (Mark) Garrison, Columbia City, IN; a son: Alex Culler, Renton, WA and his former wife: Marilyn Culler, Garrett, IN. 2 grandchildren survive in Columbia City, IN along with a brother: Melvin (Fran) Culler, Auburn, IN. Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Wayne D. and Hilma Culler and a brother: Carson Culler. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN. with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Scott Shoaff officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery - Auburn, IN with military graveside services by the Garrett American Legion and VFW.
