Robert D. Herendeen age 59 of Garrett, IN died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Garrett. He was born March 4, 1958 in Fort Wayne, IN to Robert J. and Elcie E. (Parker) Herendeen and the preceded him in death.

He married Carol L. Ravell on August 18, 2009 in Rainelle, WV and she died November 11, 2014.

Robert was a welder and member of the North American Hunting Club and the Angola Hog Hunters Bass Club.

Robert is survived by his son: Matt (Robin) Herendeen, Columbia City, IN; daughters: Melissa Herendeen, Columbia City, IN; Raven (Joe) Harter, Churubusco, IN; Crystal (Michael Williams) Fulk, Ft. Wayne, IN.; step daughters: Sarah Copeland, Zionsville, IN; Kori Boling, Indianapolis, IN; 20 grandchildren; brothers: Tom (Jane) Herendeen, Garrett, IN; Andrew Herendeen, Kendallville, IN; sister: Becky (Frank) Inman, Cleveland, OH.

Robert was preceded by his wife: Carol L. Herendeen and his parents: Robert J. and Elcie E. Herendeen

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home – 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 7 p.m. with Funeral Celebrant Thomas Drzewiecki officiating.
