Robert "Bob" James Reetz, age 78, of Auburn, IN died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. Robert was born on July 2, 1936 in Utica, MI to Robert Carl and Della Margaret (Ammon) Reetz and they preceded him in death. He married Joan Treesh on September 24, 2005 in Waterloo, IN and she survives in Auburn. Robert was a solar heating salesman in Florida, retiring in 2002. He and Joan were active members of the ACD Museum and Harvest House. He is also survived by his step father, Charles Symes of Gibralter, MI; sons, Richard R. (Diane) Reetz of Brighton, MI and Ronald R. (Sue) Reetz of Bellville, MI; daughter, Robin R. (Ken) Lewis of Michigan and a brother, Kerry (Marcia) Reetz of Levonia, MI Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Derrick Sneyd officiating.
