Roberta J. Hatton age 77 of Garrett, IN died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her daughter's home. Roberta was born September 11, 1939 in Ft. Wayne, IN to George E. and Edith D. (Pliett) Stout and they preceded her in death. She married Orpheus Hatton on April 21, 1956 in Columbia City, IN and he died July 28, 2002. Roberta was a solder at G.E. Aircraft – Ft. Wayne, IN for 25 years, retiring in 1994. Roberta is survived by 2 sons: Jerry Hatton and Ricky (Lori) Hatton, Garrett, IN; 2 daughters: Sandra Riccius and Debra (Steve) Crager, Garrett, IN; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: George E. and Edith D. Stout; husband: Orpheus Hatton and 3 sisters. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home with Brother Bud Owen officiating.
