Roger K. Johnson, age 57 of Garrett and formerly of Holton, MI, died on Monday, September 27, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born August 8, 1953 in Muskegon, MI to Harley and Lula (Homan) Johnson, they preceded him in death. He married Shirley Scott on February 14, 2001 in Auburn. He was a laborer at Fleetwood Homes for 13 years. He was in several bowling leagues in Auburn. Surviving is his wife, Shirley Johnson of Garrett; 2 sons and a daughter in-law, Joshua Johnson of Oakdale, TN and Justin and Aubrey Johnson of Indianapolis; a brother and sister in-law, Perry and Peggy Johnson of Twin Lake, MI; a sister and brother in-law, Renee and Cliff Turner of Twin Lake and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Holton, MI. Memorials are to Shirley Johnson to assist with medical expenses.
