Ruth K. "Pee Wee" (Ebey) Roberts age 89 of Garrett, IN died Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Parkview Hospital, Randallia Drive - Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born April 28, 1929 in Wayne County, IN to Virgil Ebey Sr. and Clara M. (Wells) Ebey.  Ruth married Howard Charles Roberts on August 14, 1946 in Garrett, IN and he died June 11, 1971. She worked at Ames Department Store – Auburn, IN, retiring in 1991.

Ruth is survived by her 3 daughters: Sharon (Mike) Molargik, Garrett, IN; Cathy Roberts, Garrett, IN; Janice VanDerbosch, Garrett, IN; 2 sons: Wayne (Kathy) Roberts, Murfreesboro, TN ; Kenneth (Monika) Roberts, Chesapeake, VA; sister: Linda DePew, Hamilton Lake, IN; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents: Virgil Ebey Sr. and Clara M. Pence; husband: Howard Charles Roberts, 1 grandchild, 2 brothers: Virgil Ebey Jr. and Harold Replogle.

Visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home with Jerry Weller officiating.

Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN
