He was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of God's House of Prayer in Avilla, IN. Survivors include: Brother - JC Banks, Auburn,IN Sister - Shirley Hunter, Fort Wayne,IN Sister - Irene Johnson, Jackson, KY Sister - Helen Terry, Fort Wayne, IN Preceded in death by: Parents 3 Brothers 6 Sisters The visitation will be held on Maonday, May 4, 2009 from 2-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home. The funeral service will take placeon Tuesday, May5, 2009 at 11 a.m at Thomas Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Christain Union Cemetery, Garrett, IN with military graveside services by the Garrett American Legion and VFW. Memorials are to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
