Samuel J. Blotkamp age 74 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Parkview Randallia Hospital – Ft. Wayne, IN. Sam was born November 3, 1950 in Garrett, IN to Harold E. and Leah D. (Malcolm) Blotkamp.
Sam is survived by his step mother: Evelyn Blotkamp, Kendallville, IN; sisters: Susan (David) Baldwin, Ft. Wayne, IN; Sharon (Michael) Myers, Indianapolis, IN; brother: Scott (Carey) Fruits, Grabill, IN; 10 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and great nephews.
Sam was preceded in death by his mother: Leah D. Brilliandt; father: Harold E. Blotkamp
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN
Services will take place at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home with John Eakin officiating
Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN.
Memorials are to Byron Health Activity Department.
