Sandra Sue Smith age 78 of Ft. Wayne, IN died Sunday, July 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born January 18, 1946 in Ft. Wayne, IN to John and Jeanette (Girardot) Bierbaum and they preceded her in death. She graduated from Central Catholic High School and Ivy Tech. Community College.

Sandra married Noah Lee Smith in January 29, 1966 in Ft. Wayne, IN and he preceded her in death.

Sandra worked in the box office at the Civic Theatre and also did taxes.

She was a member of The Church at Garrett.

Sandra is survived by her children: Phillip (Beth) Smith; Susan Smith; Wanda (Ed) Reyes

Noah (Jessica) Smith and Jason Smith; 4 grandchildren: Joseph Smith, Caleb Smith, Kyle Smith and Cameron Smith; 5 great grandchildren: Jocelynn Smith, Zofia Smith, Ivanka Smith, Bentley Hawkins, Jaxon Hawkins; brothers: John (Susan) Bierbaum Jr.; Charles (Suzanne) Bierbaum; David Bierbaum; Michael (Cathy) Bierbaum; sisters: Marlene (Matt) Campbell; Rita Bierbaum; Dawn (Rich) Brown.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents: John and Jeanette Bierbaum; husband: Noah Lee Smith; sister in-law: Linda Bierbaum.

Visitation will take place from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN  46738 and from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at The Church at Garrett.

Services will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at The Church at Garrett with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson officiating.
