Shirley Ann Henderson age 73 of Wawaka, IN and formerly of Garrett, IN passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026. Shirley was born December 4, 1952 in Bryan, OH to Adam J. and Florence E. (Gambler) Little and they preceded her in death. Shirley married Ray VanDeVoorde on August 16, 1975 in Bryan, OH. She later married Gerald "Bill" Henderson on July 20, 1996 in Auburn, IN and he passed away November 25, 2003. Shirley was a factory worked and retired in 2017. She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and bowled for many years and enjoyed playing golf. One of her favorite past times was watching her grandchildren's sporting events.

Shirley is survived by her 3 sons: Joel VanDeVoorde, Bryan, OH; Todd VanDeVoorde, West Unity, OH; Ray R. VanDeVoorde, Edon, OH; step-daughter: Nicki Hendricks; grandsons: Jacob VanDeVoorde, Dru VanDeVoorde; granddaughters: Kadynce VanDeVoorde and Kallie VanDeVoorde; brother: Eugene Little; previous husband: Ray VanDeVoorde, Sebring, FL and companion: Walter Schumm, Wawaka, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Adam J. and Florence E. Little; husband: Gerald "Bill" Henderson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
