FORT WAYNE — Stephen Lewis Long age 67, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and formerly of Garrett, Indiana, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 20, 2023, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Stephen was born July 4, 1956, in Auburn, Indiana, to Jesse R. and Norma J. (Vaughn) Long.

Stephen is survived by two brothers, Rex Long and Jesse Long, both of Garrett, Indiana; three sisters, Brenda Wilbur, of Three Rivers, Michigan, Bonnie Long, of Waterloo, Indiana, and Luann Middaugh, of Auburn, Indiana.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse R. and Norma J. Long; brother, Randy Long; and sister, Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Visitation will take place from 1-2 p.m., at Thomas Funeral Home.

Services will take place at 2 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN 46738.

Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, Indiana.
