Sue Ann Pearson June 7, 1930 - November 14, 2011 Sue Ann Pearson age 81 of Garrett, IN died at 11:55 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital - Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born June 7, 1930 in Youngstown, OH to Harry I. and Alice C. (Ramey) Walton and they preceded her in death. She married George M. Pearson on April 25, 1953 in Garrett, IN and he died June 2, 1994. Sue Ann was a secretary and teachers aide at Venice High School in Venice, FL and at Garrett Keyser Butler Schools, until retiring in 1992 She is a member of the First Church of Christ in Garrett and the Professional Business Women - Garrett, IN. Sue Ann is survived by 2 daughters: Patti Weller, Garrett, IN and Leigh Ann Heltsley, Kansas, IL. A sister: Kay McComb of Huntertown also survives. She is survived by 5 grandchildren: Brian Weller and Lindsay Weller, Garrett, IN; Janelle (Aaron) Johnson, Kansas, IL; Kelly (Justin) Hefner, Republic, MO and Adam (Nikki) Heltsley, Kansas, IL. 5 Great Grandchildren survive: Brady Heltsley and Brayson Heltsley, Republic, MO; Kiera Johnson and Shelby Johnson, Kansas, IL and Addison Heltsley, Kansas, IL Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents: Harry I. and Alice C. Walton; Husband: George M. Pearson and a brother: Bob Walton Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN and from 9- 10 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the First Church of Christ - Garrett, IN. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the First Church of Christ - Garrett, IN with Brother Bud Owen and Brother Larry Owen officiating.
