Suellyn Dickerson, 75, passed away on September 30, 2017 at Hospice House in South Bend. Su was a long time resident of Garrett, Indiana and was preceded in death by her loving parents Paul and Devon Wilmot.

Su served her country in the United States Army as part of the European Theater. After being honorably discharged, she became a member of the American Legion Post 178 in Garrett, IN where she developed many lifelong friendships.

Su was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Tad (Tonya) Dickerson of South Bend, IN, Troy (Bobbi) Dickerson of Leo, IN and Lesli (Jeff) Cox of Franklin, IN; seven grandchildren Leeah (Logan) Hopper of South Bend, IN, Joseph (Alejandra) Carroll of Fort Sill, OK, Schaleenah (Broc) Bramlett of South Bend, IN, Andru Cox of Franklin, IN, Tyee Dickerson of Hagerstown, MD, Kayla Dickerson of Fort Wayne, IN and Tyler Dickerson of Topeka, KS; seven great-grandchildren, Lucas Hopper, Jaxon Carroll, Landon Cox, Schali Cox, Jace Carroll, Lanah Hopper, and Scarlett Cermak.

A private burial will be held for immediate family only in Garrett, IN at a later date.
