Thomas E. Eberle, age 70 of Garrett, died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at DeKalb Health in Auburn. He was born December 2, 1942 in Fort Wayne to Leonard Dale and Betty Jane (Buchanan) Eberle, they preceded him in death. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Navy. He worked as a material handler at Teleflex, retiring in 2008. On April 19, 1986 he married Nancy L. Philbee in Garrett and she survives in Garrett. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Laurie Eberle of Bakersville, CA and Denena Eberle of California; a step daughter, Michelle Lang of LaOtto; 2 brothers, Dale Eberle of New Haven and Kenneth Eberle of Markle; 2 sisters, Cheryl Hawkins of Edgerton, OH and Carol Ertel of Tennessee and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Garrett Nazarene Church. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. at the church.
