Tyron L. Combs, age 49 of Garrett, died on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1961 in Hazard, KY to Billie Louise (Morton) Combs. He married Helen M. McGuire-Hargadon on November 8, 1997 in Garrett. He was a Powder Coater at Garrett Products for 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Helen Combs of Garrett; 6 sons and daughters in-law, Steve Combs of Waterloo, Mike and Rachel Combs of Fort Wayne, Sterling and Wendy Robbins II of Garrett, Derek and Lisa Robbins of Waterloo, Kevin and Kathy Robbins of Fort Wayne and Adam McPherson of Garrett; a sister, Regenna Dorton of Garrett; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and 2 sisters, Nyoka McBride and Sharon Sue Day. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., with Brother Bud Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Memorials are to the Helen Combs to assist with expenses.
