Beverly L. Schurr Houser Carper age 77 of Garrett, IN died Wednesday, January 7, 2015. She was born February 15, 1937 in Garrett, IN to Wilmer and Ethel (Higgins) Schurr and they preceded her in death. She was a beautician from 1960 - 1990, retiring in 1990. Beverly is survived by 3 sons: Steven (Sharon) Houser, Leigh High Acres, FL; Roger (Gayle) Houser, Auburn, IN; Bruce (Linda) Houser, Waterloo, IN; 2 step daughters: Jama (Mark) Hubler, CT; Joni (Stan) Mefford, Allen, TX; brother: Bob (Jackie) Schurr, Palmetto, FL; sister: Carol (Joe) Schlabach, Ft. Wayne, IN; sister in-law: Jane Schurr, Port Charlotte, FL; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 husbands, her parents: Wilmer and Ethel Schurr and a brother: David Schurr. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church - Garrett, IN There will be no visitation or services at this time.
