Velda Bernice Hoops Booth age 56 of Auburn, IN died Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Grey Stone Health & Rehabilitation - Fort Wayne, IN surrounded by family. Velda was born May 11, 1960 in Denver, CO to Paul & Bertha (Stillwell) Hoops. Velda married Timothy Booth on June 2, 1979 in Aurora, CO. Velda has a spent her lifetime in the care of young children, even beyond her own, which gave her great joy and purpose. She was an avid reader and gifted seamstress. She loved popcorn and Christmastime. Velda was always willing to listen to friends and family when they needed someone to talk to. She was a devout Christian woman, and a member of County Line Church of God. Velda is survived by her sister Ethel of TN; brothers William (Bill) and wife Sue of PA; and Delbert (Del) and wife Louann of OK. Her children and grandchildren: Tami with her children Samara, Sabastian, and Sirris of Fort Wayne; Paula and husband Mitchell of Indianapolis; Bonnie of Fort Wayne; and Charles and wife Elizabeth (Liz) and their son Elias of Anderson; and her devoted and loving husband, Tim, of 37 years. Visitation will take place from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the County Line Church of God - Auburn, IN Services will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the County Line Church of God - Auburn, IN with Pastor Stuart Kruse officiating Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett, IN.
