Vivian I. Kessler age 86 of Garrett, IN died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Parkview Reginal Medical Center - Fort Wayne, IN. Vivian was born April 13, 1930 in Churubusco to Clarence C. and Helen M. (Loutzenhiser) Mowry and they preceded her in death. She married Monroe J. Kessler on September 21, 1989 in Baton Rouge, LA. Vivian was a press operator at Lincoln Manufacturing - Ft. Wayne, IN for 18 years and she retired in 1990. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church - Garrett, IN, Garrett Eagles Aux., Garrett American Legion Aux., and the 40 and 8 Lafemmes. Vivian is survived by her husband: Monroe J. Kessler, Garrett, IN; 4 daughters: Donna Hite, TN; Brenda Knight, Garrett, IN; Vivian Perry, Ft. Wayne, IN; Trina Joseph, Garrett, IN; 2 sons: Mark Queen, Scottsdale,AZ and Clarence "Sam" Queen, Ft. Wayne, IN.; sister: Betty Wall, Ft. Wayne, IN; 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Eugene Mowry and Donald Mowry; 2 sisters: Joan Stephenson and Kathryn Bodkin There will be no services at this time.
