William "Bill" John Pfefferkorn age 57 of Gobles, MI and formerly of Garrett, IN died at 8:52 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at his home. He was born February 4, 1954 in Garrett, IN to Norbert "Chub" L. and Elsie (Bockelman) Pfefferkorn and they preceded him in death. He married Maryann (Coleman) Smith in Gobles, MI. and she survives there. Bill was in the grocery business most his life in the Garrett, IN area. He was a member of the Journey Church in Gobles, MI. and the Garret Eagles. Bill is survived by his wife: Maryann Pfefferkorn, Gobles, MI ; 2 brothers: Kevin (Terri) Pfefferkorn, Auburn, IN and Mark (Linda) Pfefferkorn, Big Long Lake, Wolcottville, IN. Bill also is survived by a son Will of Fort Wayne, IN; a step daughter: Jamie (Jeff) Clifton, South Bend, IN and 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home, Garrett, IN Services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Napp officiating.
