William G. Tiffner age 69 of LaOtto, IN died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital – Ft. Wayne, IN. William was born December 6, 1947 in Hazard, KY to Lloyd G. and Martha (Patterson) Tiffner and they preceded him in death. He married Joan M. Mulcahey on June 25, 1968 in Chicago, IL and she died August 20, 2012.

William was a Vietnam Marine veteran.

He was a member of the Garrett American Legion, VFW, Monday Afternoon bowling league, and Garrett Pool League.

William is survived by his daughters: Veronica M. Tiffner, Ft. Wayne, IN; Billie J. Johnson-Tiffner, Villa Park, IL; son: James L. Tiffner, Ft. Wayne, IN; his person: Cindy Ramsey Huckeriede, Garrett, IN

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Joan M. Tiffner, and brother: Gerald Tiffner.

As per his wishes – cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will take place from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Garrett American Legion Post #178, 515 W. 5th Ave., Garrett, IN. Please bring a dish to share along with great stories to share also. Memorials are to the Garrett American Legion or VFW.
