Wilma R. (Godwin) Hill age 79 of Fort Wayne, IN died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Parkview Hospital - Fort Wayne. She was born October 5, 1931 in Catawba, WV to Simon Virgil and Hazel Agnes (Bryan) Godwin and they preceded her in death. She was a book keeper at Barth and Levy Appliance in Fort Wayne and most recently was a clerk at AAA Auctions in New Haven, IN and at Wal-Mart. She was of the Baptist faith. Wilma is survived by 2 sons: Darryl Hill, Fort Wayne, IN and Brian Chittenden, Hicksville, OH. She is survived by a sister: Sandy Stryker, Auburn, IN and her grandchildren: Kevin (Elizabeth) Chittenden, Wauseon, OH; Kate Chittenden, Hicksville, OH; Clayton Hill, Fort Wayne, IN ; Jennifer Hoot, New Haven, IN and a great grandson: Brody Chittenden, Wauseon, OH. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery - Garrett, IN. Memorials are to Cancer Services of Allen County.
