Betty M. (Agler) Hawkins

Betty M. Hawkins age 97 of Garrett, IN died Monday, February 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1922 in Berne, IN to Glen and Elva (Scoles) Agler and they preceded her in death. Betty married Rev. Kenneth T. Hawkins on December 13, 1941 in Berne, IN and he died October 16, 2009. Betty was a homemaker and member of the Auburn Church of the Nazarene.

Betty is survived by her son: Ken Douglas and Lee Ann Hawkins, Marion, IN; daughter: Jean and Milen Howard, Garrett, IN; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Kenneth T. Hawkins; parents: Glen and Elva Agler; 3 brothers and 3 sisters

A Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Marion National Cemetery, 1700 E. 38th Street, Marion, IN 46952 with Rev. Doug Thomas officiating.
