Marilyn Runion Obituary

Marilyn L. Runion age 89 of Garrett, IN died Friday, July 3, 2020 at Parkview – Randallia Dr.

Marilyn was born June 26, 1931 in Willard, OH to John A. and Josephine (Frost) Wyatt. She was a homemaker and babysat also. She had worked at Garrett Rubber Company for 3 years.

She married Norman E. Runion Sr. on August 13, 1949 in Garrett, IN and he died July 15, 2014.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church – Garrett, IN

Marilyn is survived by her daughters: Linda (Max) Treesh, Auburn, IN; Alice (Philippe) Jones, Garrett, IN; Debra (Don) Reinoehl, Garrett, IN; Carolee Dawn (Jerry) Bennett, Garrett, IN; son: Norman E. Runion Jr., Garrett, IN; 2 exchange students: Marcela (Randy) Carroll, Garrett, IN; Ayako Hamaka, Japan; sister: Josephine Rentner, Auburn, IN; Several  Grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents: John A. and Josephine Wyatt; brothers: William Wyatt and John A. Wyatt Jr.

 

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 with Rev David Mix officiating.

Calling will take place 2 hours prior to the services at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery – Auburn, IN
