Ronald J. McCarthy age 72 of Ft. Wayne, IN passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Miller's Merry Manor - Garrett, IN. Ronald was born April 1, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Mary (Daly) McCarthy. He was a police man while in New York and was a truck driver when he moved to Indiana. He married Jennie L. Tipton and she passed away on January 2, 2014. He worked for North American until 2014 and then was a CDL instructor for 4 years before retiring in 2018.

Ronald is survived by his step son: Duane and Erica Lapp, Garrett, IN; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
